LONG ROAD HOME Once upon a time I had it all figured out Set my life on cruise control but I found out Just one moment, everything changes Up at 3am, and I’m pacing the floor Thinking bout my life and what I’m living for How I’m gonna make it Every climb and every stumble makes us who we are Every win and every fumble every broken heart What doesn’t kill us makes us stronger On the long and winding road On the Long Road Home Black top and curving double yellow lines Turning off the autopilot in my mind My heart opens, everything changes I’ve got my hands on the wheel and the wind in my hair The sun is risin’ and I’m breathin’ in the morning air I’m gonna make it Cuz every climb and every stumble makes us who we are Every win and every fumble every broken heart What doesn’t kill us makes us stronger On the long and winding road On the Long Road Home I wouldn’t change a thing These are the lessons I have learned Every detour, every turn, every scar I had to earn I wouldn’t change a single stone On the long road home Cuz every climb and every stumble makes us who we are Every win and every fumble every broken heart What doesn’t kill us makes us stronger On the long and winding road On the Long Road Home On the Long Road Home I’m coming home

I DREAM OF YOU Turning in my bed, visions in my head Make me swear I'm tasting your kiss through my tears Darkness all around, we move without a sound Morning comes and for a second you’re still here I dream of you like you were mine Night after night, ‘til morning light I dream of you, I dream Like you were mine It’s Heaven and its Hell, ever since I fell Tell me how a dream so sweet can be so cruel Pulls me down again, I'm under and condemned All alone but tangled up in you I dream of you like you were mine Night after night, ‘til morning light I dream of you, I dream Like you were mine Now I lay me down to sleep I pray the Lord my soul to keep I pray the stars I pray the moon I pray the night to take me to you Now I lay me down to sleep I pray the dark to take me deep Take the light so I can see So I can Dream of you like you were mine Night after night, ‘til morning light I dream of you, I dream Like you were mine I Dream of you like you were mine Night after night, ‘til morning light I dream of you, I dream Like you were mine

BEFORE TIME FLEW AWAY It was the time of our life But I didn’t know it then We were living high above the clouds I thought those days would never end Those days would never end Before time flew away We always had tomorrow, another day But it flew like a kite that’s gone too high A break in the line, lost in the sky You promised me tomorrow And forever you’d be here But now you’re gone and I go on as memories slowly disappear They slowly disappear Before time flew away We always had tomorrow, another day But it flew like a kite that’s gone too high A break in the line, lost in the sky I see your picture When you were laughing, the sun in your eyes The brightest future gone And I never even thought ab out goodbye, goodbye Before time flew away We always had tomorrow, another day But it flew like a kite that’s gone too high A break in the line, lost in the sky

WHAT ARE THE CHANCES? Do do, do do do do do do do do do We’re like East and West, Dark and Light Short and Tall, Left and Right They said opposites attract but they don’t last very long Look at us now, we’re proving them wrong What are the chances That I’d be yours and you’d be mine What are the chances that after all this time We’d beat the odds and win the bet After all these years who would have guessed We’d still be in love, even more than the day we met What are the chances of love Do do, do do do do do do do do do They said we’d never make it, It would be too hard We were just too different we were world’s apart They said opposites attract But they don’t last very long Look at us now, we’re still going strong What are the chances That I’d be yours and you’d be mine What are the chances that after all this time We’d beat the odds and win the bet After all these years who would have guessed We’d still be in love, even more than the day we met What are the chances of love Do do, do do do do do do do do do Even though we’re different we go together right One without the other would be like day without the night I’m no statistician but there’s one thing I know There’s not a chance in the world, I’d ever let you go Do do, do do do do do do do do do What are the chances That I’d be yours And you’d be mine What are the chances That after all this time Do do, do do do do do do do do do We’d be in love Oh, What are the chances Of Love

LITTLE THINGS A little kiss A little smile Holding hands a little while A little look and a little gaze on a Summer Day A little walk out in the park And little secrets after dark A little laugh and a little sigh while shooting stars light up the sky The little things are everything its true The little things, every little thing you do I love livin’ in this great big world of little things with you A little walk in Autumn leaves Red and orange and golden trees A little winter is on its way, holding tight to keep the chill away In the roaring fire’s glow Under the green of the mistletoe A velvet box and a diamond ring and a promise for the Spring The little things are everything its true The little things, every little thing you do I love livin’ in this great big world of little things with you The things that we do every day may seem small But when you stop to think about it, they’re really all you’ll ever need A little chapel with a view A sky of powder blue A little stroll on down the aisle My hearts a flutter as your eyes meet mine A little dress with a little lace Tear of joy running down my face And then a question, oh yes “I do”, And we’re going on a little honeymoon The little things are everything its true The little things, every little thing you do I love livin’ in this great big world of little things with you Oh the little things, livin’ in this great big world Some might say we don’t have much But we’ve got the little things The little things, honey we’ve got the little things, the little things

PEACE WILL FIND A WAY Like a flame reaching to the sky Turning pain and suffering into light Like the water flowing clear and carving through the stone I believe Peace will find a way Peace will find a way Like the wind that brings a fortress down Turning walls into pebbles on the ground Like a song that takes my tears and turns them into joy I believe Peace will find a way I believe (choir) Peace, love, believe, We will find a way In the power of love Peace, love, believe I believe peace will find a way When the power of love grows stronger We'll study war no longer We can break the chain and love will rule the day When the power of love grows stronger than the love of power We can make a change and peace will find a way (Choir) The power of love burning brighter and brighter It lights up the darkness so peace will find a way The power of love burning brighter and brighter It lights up the darkness so peace will find a way I believe in the power of love Burning brighter, light it up The power of love burning brighter, burning brighter, burning brighter for Peace

about

"This EP is inspired by my long road home — my journey through cancer to survivorship. Having always been a singer, it wasn’t until I was in the midst of treatment for ovarian cancer that I uncovered my unspoken “bucket list” desire to write songs. In the process of healing, I thought about what I was called to contribute to the world, and I discovered my “inner songwriter.” And though I went through a lot when I was sick and lost much in the process, I gained so much more. Coming out the other side of it and being one of the lucky few who is cured, I have an appreciation and joy for life I didn’t have before, and most importantly, feel I have found my life’s calling and purpose in music. As I say in the lyric of the title track:

'I wouldn’t change a thing.
These are the lessons I have learned.
Every detour, every turn, every scar I had to earn.
I wouldn’t change a single stone, on the long road home.'

Now healed, I’m on a mission to spread love, healing, joy and peace through the power of words and music — and to inspire others to
follow their dreams and live artistically. I offer this EP and my story to you as a gift for your own life’s journey."

about

Patricia Bahia Los Angeles, California

An award-winning songwriter, singer, and cancer survivor, Patricia Bahia wrote her first song in 2004 after a cancer diagnosis prompted her to leave her career as a lawyer, trade her briefcases for guitar cases, and start living her bucket list life as a songwriter.

Her music is highly melodic pop and draws comparisons to Sara Bareilles, Colbie Caillat, and Brandi Carlile.
